A photo essay of coal’s last days in South Australia

As the last items are prepared for auction at the Leigh Creek Coal Fields, people from far and wide came to inspect a vast array of items to be put under the hammer on the 8th and 9th of November. A Rosettamoon photo correspondent used this opportunity to capture a glimpse at life at the mine, before it all vanishes.
